Storewide floating button is a great way to engage customers in your giving campaign. You can customize colors, text, icon and position of this button via the Shopify Theme editor. When clicked, Learn More pop up opens letting your customers know more about your giving campaign.
This widget is an embed on your theme and can be modified via the Theme Editor in Shopify. It will appear on all pages on their side before the Checkout.
Floating button is available to Shopify merchants on Virtue Impact Plus and Unlimited plans.
Set up the Floating Button:
In-App head to the Widgets section and click on 'Storewide'. Then click on the blue button 'Edit App embed via Shopify Theme Editor'. Note that the widget won't show on your store until the App is Activated.
2. Once in Theme Editor toggle on both Virtue and Floating Button toggles.
3. Customize your widget's position, colors, tagline and icon.
Use the settings to customize the look and feel of your widget.
The widget will appear on all pages of your site before the checkout.
4. The button opens Learn More where customers can learn more about your campaign and causes. Learn More copy is automated and is based on your campaign information.
5. o de-active the widget head over to your App Embeds in the theme editor and un-toggle Floating Button.
Save all your changes in the Theme Editor. This widget will show to your customers when Virtue plan is selected (Plus or Unlimited), App activated and changes Saved in the Theme editor.
