A cause is a charity or project that you can support through Virtue.
Most causes are registered charities but some are impact organisations. You can find out more about each cause by clicking the Learn more link on the cause's card.
Causes page
To find and select causes for your giving campaign, navigate to the Causes page in the side navigation menu.
Use the search box
You can enter the name of a cause, charity or a generic term to search for causes. Enter the text and click on the magnifying glass in the search box.
Filter using tags.
All of our causes are sorted into groups which can be filtered using the tags.You will see these tags under the search box. You may select as many tags as you wish.
Select causes.
Once you have found a cause which aligns with your giving campaign, simply click on the cause card to select it.
You will see the cause being added to the selected causes menu and the bottom of the screen. Causes may also be removed from this menu by selecting the dismiss button on the right side of the cause card.
You may select up to 3 causes.
Once you are happy with your selection, click on the Save button.
Can I add a cause if I can't find it?
If you are not able to find your desired cause you can add your own cause directly in-app
