When are donations sent to causes?

Depending on the Causes you are giving to there are 3 types of payment methods we use.

  1. Direct payment via Stripe - this means the charity has a direct partnership with Virtue. We process your payment on the 20th of the month and will charge your car using Stripe.

  2. PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) - most of the charities in Virtue are partnered via Paypal Giving Fund. For these charities the donation is processed on the 20th of the month via your Paypal account.

  3. Manual payment - these charities require you to manually make the payment on the 20th of the month. Virtue will email you the instructions for making the payment and providing proof to Virtue that the payment has been made.
