Virtue offers compliant business fundraising in UK.
We have 2 ways in which we cover fundraising compliance:
1) Virtue has direct partnerships with Charities and auto-produces a CPA when businesses start fundraising for these partners. Funds are transferred to the Charity from the business via Stripe or manually.
2) 40,000 Charities on the platform are via our partnership with the PayPal Giving Fund UK (PPGF). When businesses fundraise for PPGF Charities, technically they are fundraising for PPGF to benefit the Charity. Funds to the Charity are then passed on by PPGF into the Charity's PPGF account.
There is a disclaimer in Learn More of Virtue assets letting shoppers know that the business is fundraising for PPGF to benefit Charity 'X'.
Virtue right now does not fully take care of fundraising compliance outside of UK. However, businesses outside of UK can fundraise for their Causes on Virtue by using the Add My Cause feature.
